The Peer Review Measures Quality-Control Policies and Procedures
As an accounting firm in Michigan that belongs to the AICPA Center for Audit Quality and is registered with the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) to audit non-issuer broker dealers, MRPR has its peer review administered by the AICPA National Peer Review Committee. A peer review is a periodic review of quality-control policies and procedures performed by specifically trained CPA’s from other firms.
MRPR has always received unqualified opinions (meaning a "clean" opinion) on its periodic peer reviews. A copy of the unqualified report for our most recent review for the year ended September 30, 2010 is attached for your reference.
What does this mean for your company?
It means you can rely on MRPR Group’s policies and procedures to guide highly trained CPA’s to produce a financial statement audit report for your company that is in conformity with applicable professional standards in all material respects.
