Although the range of services that we provide has expanded‚ performing audits continues to be an important aspect of our practice. Our audit process will generate information and develop insights that result in improved controls and safeguards for your company.
These insights ultimately lead to greater efficiencies with clear‚ concise‚ and understandable financial reporting respected by the financial community. Our professionals combine competence with judgment‚ maturity and creativity - - all prerequisites for audit quality and efficiency.
Expertise is critically important when performing a professional audit. See how MRPR ensures that our professionals have the experience you need in your auditor by requesting our free guide:
If you have assurance needs that don't require a full audit‚ we can provide review and compilation services that are less in scope than an audit‚ but still provide financial statements that are the representation of management.
We provide these services to smaller‚ closely-held businesses to provide assurance to third parties including banks‚ suppliers and customers.
We perform all review and compilation services in accordance with the Statements on Standards for Accounting and Review Services issued by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
MRPR specializes in retirement plan audits as required by ERISA (the Employment Retirement Income Security Act). We have over 20 years of experience performing retirement plan audits. We are also members of the AICPA's Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center, which helps ensure that MRPR is held to the highest standards and that our clients are in compliance with ERISA.

We are members of the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts‚ Polaris International‚ and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.
The quality of our auditing and accounting services is regularly audited as a condition of membership in the AICPA Center for Public Company Audit Firms and Polaris International.
One of the membership requirements is a periodic audit of our quality-control policies and procedures every three years. These audits are conducted by specifically trained CPAs from other firms. The Firm has always received unqualified opinions on its periodic peer audits. A copy of the unqualified report (meaning a "clean" opinion) for our most recent audit for the year ended September 30, 2007 is attached for your reference.

"I think back about the flexibility and the responsiveness you have provided us during these audits. You were always very efficient at completing the audits on time and always responded to my questions and requests very quickly."

"I have peer reviewed more than 150 firms over the past 18 years and performed more than 400 peer reviews. My observation is that MRPR Group is rendering their services at the same level of quality as that of much larger firms. In fact, their dedication to quality work and adherence to the standards of our profession is at the top of the list of the firms with 50 or fewer professionals that I have reviewed."
